Beryl Dean Arkle, 87, Bethany, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at a St. Joseph, MO hospital.
He was born March 17, 1927, in Ridgeway, MO, the son of George and Gertie (Spence) Arkle.
On March 28, 1948, Beryl was united in marriage to Rose Marie Combs. She survives of the home. To this union 3 daughters were born, Rhonda, Paula, and Lisa.
Beryl was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and several projects still exist today that Beryl erected. He was a member of the Eagleville Masonic Lodge and later transferred to the Bethany Masonic Lodge and he celebrated 50 years of membership. He was also a member of the Eagleville Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, passing away the same date as his father 29 years later; Sister, Mildred Grabill and Granddaughter, Stephanie Osmon.
Survivors in addition to his wife of 66 years are 3 Daughters, Rhonda (Terry "Butch") Osmon, Bethany, MO; Paula (Pat) Eivins, Cameron, MO; Lisa (Randy) Flint, Bethany, MO; 4 Grandchildren, Lori (Brian), Ryan (Rebekah) Alyssa and Justin; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday April 24, Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial in Morris Chapel Cemetery, Bethany, MO.
