She married the Reverend George H. Hale in 1892.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clara Mitchell of Murphysboro and Miss Delphia Hale of Webster Grove, Missouri; four sons, Clarence, John, Owen and Louis, all of Murphysboro; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Mrs. Hale died at age 78 on Saturday, May 9, 1953, at St. Andrew’s Hospital in Murphysboro.
