Charles Riley, a brother of the late Mrs. John Babb, died at his home in Cates from pneumonia last Thursday. The funeral services were held last Saturday, burial taking place at the Cooper chapel cemetery in Wabash township. Mrs. Babb died only a couple of weeks ago, and was buried in the same cemetery, near their childhood home.

Principal John D. Babb, of our schools, received word Thursday that his uncle, Charles Riley, of near Cates had died that morning after a few days illness with pneumonia. Mrs. John Babb, mother of the Principal, who died from the same disease two weeks ago was a sister of Mr. Riley.
