Margene Sears age 86 of Hillsboro died Thursday evening, February 1, 2007 at the Heartland of Hillsboro. She was born May 23, 1920 in Hillsboro, Ohio the daughter of the late Albert and Minnie Morris Johnson. Mrs. Sears was a member of the Hillsboro Southern Baptist Church and had worked in housekeeping at the Oakland Nursing Center in Hillsboro for many years. She is survived by her husband, Durward F. "Buss" Sears whom she had married on March 31, 1994 in Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters and one half sister. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Ray Woolridge will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
