JONESBORO — Funeral services for Calvin Mathews, 74, of Hodge were at 2 p.m. today at the McDonald Baptist Church here with the Rev. Morris Goings officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mr. Mathews died Saturday at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mattie Mathews of Hodge; two sons, Williams Mathews of Hodge and Gerald Mathews of Saline; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Durbin and Mrs. Patsy Folks both of Jonesboro; one sister, Mrs. Clara Moffett of Tallulah; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
