Berrien Springs – Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Emlong, 83, formerly of 2216 Lemo Creek Road, died Monday at Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph, after a lengthy illness. She was a former elementary school teach. Born on Dec. 23, 1897, in Berrien Springs, she had lived there all her life. He husband, Andrew C., died on Jan. 14, 1968.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ada Broadbeck of Three Oaks; a brother, Thomas Taylor of Tucson, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McLauchlin-Willit Funeral Home, Berrien Springs.
