Miss Virginia Adair Farr, age 92, of Oakmont Nursing Home, died March 22, 2009.
Miss Farr was born in the Kelton Community, April 26, 1916 a daughter of the late Richard Farr and Ethel Inman Farr. She was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church and was retired from the Cato Corporation in Charlotte, NC.
Survivors are a sister: Grace Lown of Lexington and numerous nieces and nephews. Miss Farr was predeceased by two sisters: Norma F. Alman and Gussie Mae Comer; and one brother: Archie Farr.
Graveside Services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Alan West.
