WINTERSET, IA - Dr. Charles [sic] Blaine Hickenlooper, 79, Madison County physician, died early Wednesday in Madison County Memorial Hospital from injuries suffered in a fall at his home Saturday.

Dr. Hickenlooper, who was an uncle of Senator Bourke B. Hickenlooper (Rep., Ia.) was graduated from Ensworth Medical College at St. Joseph, Mo., in 1910 and practiced at New Virginia before coming here in 1913. He retired about two years ago.

He was a 50-year member of the Iowa Medical Society and was a member of the Masonic and Eastern Star Lodges.

Surviving are two daughters, Mr. John E. Peterson of Des Moines, and Mrs. G.A. Chaney of Winterset, and three granddaughters.

Services at the Methodist Church here; burial in Winterset Cemetery.
