Mrs. Hardy was born November 12, 1912, in Valley View, Kentucky. She was a homemaker, a retired seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: her daughter, Henrietta Neal (Ronald); two granddaughters, Lydia Crowe (Derrick) and Lynn Moberly (Calvin); three great-grandchildren, Kim Pennix (Craig), Melissa Durbin (Shane) and Eddie Crowe; and 11 great-great-grandchildren as well as two stepgrandchildren. She also is survived by: two cousins, Lydia Whitamore and Arthenia Martin, and two dear friends, Mary Black and Alberta White.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Arnold, Maurice, Tilden and Edward Howard.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Barnes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery at Waco.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
