Son of John and Margaret Cheney Burt of Coshocton, Ohio. A direct descendant of Henry and Eulalia Marche Burt, who came over from England to the shores of Massachusetts in the 1600's. Husband of (1) Justina (Minnie) Johnson Burt, the mother of his children, and who preceded him in death, and (2) Genevieve Manogue Burt. Mr. Burt was a retired electrician by trade. He died when his trailer home caught fire from a cigarette left burning when he fell asleep.
