Louis A Knoth, 70, 1180 Circle Drive, Benton Harbor, died at 8:45 pm Sunday in Mercy hospital, following a long illness.
Mr. Knoth was born Feburary 22, 1905 in Chicago. His wife, the former Mae Cooper preceded him in death in 1974.
Surviving are a son, Richard, Whitehall, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Gladys) Smaltz, Coloma, Mrs. Michael (Roberta) Turlin, Benton Harbor; two brothers, Erwin, Grand Rapids and William, Shelby, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Sherwood, Newaygo, Mich., Mrs. Herman (Gertrude) Dawson, Daytona Beach, Fla., and Mrs. John (Esther) Thode, Novi, Mich., and a half sister, Mrs. Marie Sanders, Shelby, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday in the Fairplan Chapel, Florin Funeral home, where friends may call. Burial will be in Cyrstal Springs cemetery.
