A private graveside service was held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Randolph Memorial Park, with Charles T. Reeder officiating.
A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Kirkman was born September 7, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Levi Hudson and Lida Dorsett Hudson. She was retired from the Randolph County School System and was a member of Worthville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junius F. Kirkman; granddaughter, Karen Kirkman McKinney and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Kirkman is survived by son, Roy Kirkman, wife Donna, of Asheboro, NC, granddaughter, Kim Kirkman, of Supply, NC; three great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
