Kenneth S. Blaine, 56, of Clinton, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.

Private Family Services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Steven Blaine was born on December 14, 1956 in Collinsville, Illinois, the son of Bernard and Lorene (Jaggers) Blaine. He served in the United States Army.

Kenneth was employed as a security guard at Mount Saint Clare College for several years.

Kenneth enjoyed reading up and watching documentaries on war history.

Kenneth is survived by his children: Samantha Blaine of Clinton, Sarah (Steven) Harlock of Clinton, Timothy (Jenny) Blaine of Clinton, and a step-daughter: Lana Barton of Clinton; 5 grandchildren and his sister: Linda (Richard J.) Hansen of Clinton.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his sister.

Memorials can be made to the family.
