Mrs. Harriet Irons died at her home in this borough last Sunday morning, after a long illness, aged about 50 years. The deceased leaves two sons, Clayton and Clinton Irons, of this borough, and one daughter, Mrs. Judson Hacket, of Farmers Valley. The funeral was held at the house Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. B. McCandless, Rector of St. Luke's church, officiating. The interment took place in Rose Hill cemetery.

DEATH OF HARRIETT IRONS
Last Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock Mrs. Harriett Irons found relief in death at her home on east Main street, this borough, caused by heart failure, due to chronic bronchitis, from which she has been a sufferer for many years.
Miss Harriett Parker was born in Coryville, this county, Oct. 3, 1841. She was married to William Irons and lived in Keating township until about 1880, when she moved into this borough where she has since resided until death.
Three children survive her, namely: Clinton and Clayton of this borough and Mrs. Allie Hackett of Keating township.
The funeral was held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. J. Heber McCandles conducting the services. The remains were laid at rest beside those of her son, Frank, who recently preceded her, in Rose Hill cemetery.
