She was born in 1931. Beverly attended St. Mary's High School and celebrated with the Class of 1949 (the 49'ers) for over 60 years. In 1950, Beverly married Dwain T. Walters. In 1972, Beverly retired to Clinton. Retirement was short lived as Beverly opened and operated B&B Pre-School. She served as Wan-tan-ye President and served on the Mercy Hospital Board and volunteer in the gift shop. From 1981 until recently, Beverly made life more beautiful for her family and friends in Clinton and in her adopted city, Huntsville, Alabama. In July of 2012, Beverly moved to Mercy Living Center South.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute in her name to one of the following charities: Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, Heart Association, Mended Hearts or Myasthenia Gravis Association. All of these charities influenced her life in some way. Celebrate life, as she did. A special thanks to her caregivers, Jackie Green and the staff of Mercy Living Center South that gave her the "attention" she deserved!
