Charles Seth Tolman, 78 died at his home in Colorado Springs, Colo., this morning.
Mr. Tolman wo visited his sons many times in Ventura, had made a number of acquaintances here. Death came at 4:30 a.m., while he slept. An ailing heart had given him trouble for the past four months.
Mr. and Mrs. Tolman had visited the elder Tolman in Colorado the elder Tolman in Colorado Springs in May on their vacation.
Born July 4, 1861, Mr. Tolman is survived by his widow Tulula, two sons, D.R Tolman of Santa Barbara and W.W. Tolman of Stockton; and a stepdaughter Audrie Linthicum of Colorado Springs. Private rites were conducted this afternoon by the Christian Science church.
