Terry W. Fox, 55, of Heyworth and formerly of Jacksonville died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at his residence.

He was born November 5, 1958, in Lincoln, the son of Thomas F. and Mildred M. Dengler Fox. He married Dianna Elliott and she survives.

Terry also is survived by two sons, Jason Fox and Justin (wife, Jillian) Fox; one granddaughter, Jaelynn Fox; and one brother, Tom (wife, Gretchen) Fox; all of Jacksonville. His parents preceded him in death.

Terry worked for the City of Jacksonville Parks and Lakes Department and Street Department, retiring in 2004 after 30 years of employment. He also mowed, plowed snow and hauled water for many in the community. Following his retirement, Terry relocated to Heyworth. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed shooting clays at Jacksonville Sportsman's Club. Terry was known for his outgoing personality and his love for people.

A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Hebron Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Jacksonville Sportsman's Club.
