R.U. WEBBER DIES WEDNESDAY IN KANSAS CITY
Rutherford Ulysses Webber, 68, retired farmer, was born in La Plata, Feb. 14, 1877, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ben Gregory, 3743 College, Kansas City, Missouri, Wednesday morning, Jan. 30.
The body will arrive in La Plata Friday afternoon and will be at the Christie Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday afternoon.
Besides Mrs. Gregory, he is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. LaRue Silver and Mrs. Keith Shay, of Miami, Florida, and Mrs. John Sunday of 5631 Brooklyn, Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Oscar and James Webber of Atlanta; one sister, Mrs. Maud Gross of La Plata; and four grandchildren.
