She was married on July 27, 1946 to William Edward Poor (1919-1996), the son of Hubert Thomas Poore (1890-1965) and Ida Bell (Barker) Poore (1896-1931).

Flora passed away on June 28, 2001 in Clarksville, Tennessee and was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery.
