Bob was born November 2, 1927, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ansel Stanley Crowley and Sofia Edna Robison Crowley. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. Bob attended Brigham Young University and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University.
On December 19, 1947, he married Marion Ethel Steinagel at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. To this union were born five children, Robert Jr., Cynthia, Bruce, Jim, and Steve. Bob and Marion made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Bob worked as a pharmacist for Hy-Way Drug.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, handyman work, yard work and service to others.

his loving wife of 66 years, Marion Crowley of Idaho Falls, ID;
son, Robert Louis (Tauna) Crowley, Jr. of Rigby, ID;
daughter, Cynthia (Gary) Aiman of Rexburg, ID;
son, Bruce (Pam) Crowley of Las Vegas, NV;
son, Jim (Sandy) Crowley of Salt Lake City, UT;
son, Steve (Julia) Crowley of Spokane, WA;
sister, Glenna Woolf of Idaho Falls, ID;
16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Elmer S. Crowley, and two sisters, Louise Larsen and Lola Albaugh.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Idaho Falls LDS 2nd Ward, 885 South Boulevard. The family will visit with friends from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Monday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and Tuesday from 10:00–10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
