Mrs. Greene was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Shenandoah County and was the daughter of
the late Guy Miller and Edna Iloe Phillips Reid.
She was a member of Valley Central United Church of Christ in New Market.
On Aug. 28, 1948, she married A. Nelson "Junior" Greene; he preceded her in
death Aug. 12, 2001.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda Lance of Lafayette, Ga., Ellen Dellinger
of Winchester and Kathy Kagey of Orkney Springs; two sons, Zane Greene and Fred
Greene, both of Quicksburg; four sisters, Loretta Zirkle of Falls Church, Janet
Bowers of Edinburg and Sue Golladay and Margaret Good, both of New Market; three
brothers, Garland Reid of Winchester, Roger Reid of New Market and Richard Reid
of Basye, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Thomas Deal will conduct the graveside funeral 11 a.m. Saturday in the
Mount Jackson Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mount Jackson.
