Lucille Elaine (Baker) Lynn, a resident of Nucla CO passed away on October 17, 2002 at her residence. She was 55 years old.

Graveside services were held on Monday, October 21, 2002 at the Dove Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Carter officiating.

Mrs. Lynn was born to Hubert and Alma T. (Brown) Baker in Cortez CO.

She married Norman "Gene" Eugene Lynn on June 1, 1964 in Dove Creek. She was a homemaker all her life. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Nucla.

Mrs. Lynn was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She devoted her life to her family, and also was instrumental in the development of the Family Link Center in the communities of Nucla and Naturita. She also enjoyed making pottery and ceramics.

Lucille Elaine Lynn is survived by her husband, Gene, and a son Tom, both of Nucla. Two daughters: Tammy (Scott) McMinn of Farmington NM, and Jodi (Martin) Skees of DeBuque CO. two step-sons, Albert (Ruth) Ruckman of Tacoma WA, and Daivd Reeves of Bakersfield CA. two brothers: Ralph (Dorothy) Baker of IL, and Ted Baker of Delta CO. four sisters: Jean (George) Mellott and Dorothy Mellott of Dove Creek CO, Carol (Walter) Baker of Bakersfield CA, and Toni (Martin) Esser of Olathe CO. nineteen grandchildren and other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Howard.

Cortez Four Corners Funeral Chapel/Hale & Gerken served the family.
