Daughter of Rev. Joseph Brooks and Elizabeth (Goodenough) Brooks. Her father was a Methodist Minister and was the governor candidate for Arkansas in 1872. Sister to Ida Josphine Brooks and Laura Brooks Wallingford who are buried in this same plot at Bellefontaine Cemetery.  Birth listed about 1851 or 1865 in Census records. Worked as a Public School Teacher.
