Mrs. Grace Palmer, 88, formerly of 413 Arlington Avenue NW, Canton, died Friday in Molly Stark Extended Care Facility in Canton, where she had been a patient since March. A former Carroll County resident, she was born November 3, 1888 in Cleveland, a daughter of the late Napoleon B. and Flora (Mortland) Davenport and was a member of Harsh Evangelical Reformed Church. She was married January 15, 1916 to Charles W. Palmer, who preceded her in death January 30, 1962.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Francis (Edna) Carroll of Alliance, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Horton of Canton and Mrs. John (Muriel) Reed of Minerva; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Services were held Monday in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. O. Lloyd Hutchison officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, in Carrollton.
