The first funeral was that of three-month old Alcee Guillot on January 21, 1904. The oldest part of the cemetery is near the church and the farther away from the church you walk, the more recent the graves are. In the back on the cemetery, most of the grave markers are uniform in size and material, a characteristic of mid century to present cemeteries.
