On Saturday the residents of Green Point were startled to hear that Adam Deitzler (sic), one of the prominent citizens of the place, was stricken with apoplexy and fell unconscious on the porch at the residence of his brother, Jacob Deitzler. He was removed to the house and made as comfortable as possible until the arrival of Dr. H. C. Witmeyer, who at once pronounced the case beyond recovery. He lingered until Sunday morning at 7 o'clock, when death ensued. The deceased for a number of years was engaged in the mine timber business.
