23 Jan 1967: Mrs. Emma B. Schaffner, widow of Henry P. Schaffner, North Annville Township, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Sterling Heisey, N. Railroad Ave., Annville. She was 94. A native of Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Stevens Beamesderfer. She was a member of the Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church, Palmyra, and was well known in Palmyra for her rug-making. Surviving, in addition to her daughter, Estella, wife of John S. Heisey, with whom she resided, are a daughter, Violet, wife, of Victor Smith, Norman, Okla.; 20 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Lizzie, wife of Raymond Seltzer, Bunker Hill.
