Margaret J. Ruestman Kutzner
Minonk - Margaret J. Ruestman Kutzner, 86, of 201 Locust St. Minonk, died at 5:06 pm Saturday (May 5, 2001) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minonk.
Her funeral will be at 11 am Tuesday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk. The Rev. Daniel Gansch-Boythe will officiate. Burial will be in Minonk Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Monday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Eureka, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Minonk Fire Department Extrication Fund.
She was born May 19, 1914, in Clayton Township, Woodford Co., the daughter of Walte and Annie Hanson Flohr. She married Rudolph E. Ruestman on June 24, 1929, at Eureka. He died May 10, 1962. She later married Lewis L. Kutzner on Nov. 29, 1969. He died July 2, 1991.
Survivors include one daughter, Darlene (Willis) Brown, Minonk, three sons, Frank Ruestman, Pekin, LaVerne Ruestman, and Rodney (JoAnn) Ruestman, both of Minonk, three sisters, Annie DeFreese, Bertha (Henry) Kalkwarf, and Edith (Clarence) Obert all of Minonk.
Other survivors include 22 grandchildren, Gary (Mary Ann) Brown, Gloria (A.J.) Arrington, Willia (Monica) Brown Jr., Patricia (Steve) Milashoski, Pam (Draig) Dimming, Jim Brown, Brian (Colleen) Brown, Melissa Brown, Troy Ruestman, Mike Ruestman, Juli (Terry) Baker, Scott (Sonja) Ruestman, Randy (Christie) Ruestman, Tim (Jackie) Ruestman, Tracy (Dave) Harsted, Russell (Lanna) Ruestman, Mindy (Scott) Johnson, Corey Ruestman, Mark Ruestman, Kirk Ruestman, Darren Spaniol, and Jim Spanil; 27 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Ruestman; one brother and three sisters.
Margaret was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
