Lynden Crapo 81, passed away Friday evening in the Eastern Idaho Reg. Med. Center.

Lynden was born Oct. 7, 1932 in Parker, Idaho the son of Winford Whitney and Melvina Mason Crapo. He grew up in Parker where he attended his elementary schooling graduating from South Fremont High in l950. He also attended a diesel mechanics school in Pocatello, ID.

He married Nancy Jean Soloman-Lyons on the 11 of June l954 the marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 15, 1955. They made their home in Parker where Mr. Crapo served as the Postmaster for many years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a high priest. He enjoyed guns, motor cycles and rock collection.

He is survived by his wife Nancy of Parker, Children - Jeff Lynden (Shaunaleen) Crapo, Hyrum, UT.; Audrey (Tim) Whitworth, Sugar City, ID.; Kitty (Wyand) Hart, Woods Cross, UT.; and Max David (Candice) Crapo, Ruskin, FL. siblings - Tom (Reta) Crapo, Ammond, ID.; Joellyn (Eugene) Manning, Salem, UT.; Karel (Bill) Bassett, Spangle, WA.; Diana (Bruce) Call, Virginia, Cary Lynn Crapo, Parker, ID.; 16 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Parker LDS Church with Bishop Christopher Stephens, officiating. Friends may call at the Bidwell Funeral Home Friday evening from 7 to 830 p.m. and at the Parker Church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery.
