MILLEN, Ga. - Mrs. Mildred Girard Wiggins, age 79, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. She was born in Jenkins County, a retired manager for Allied Department Stores, and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Girard and sisters, Arye Lee Aycock and Adell Peel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a. m. Friday at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Andy Allen and Jamie Archer officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, Caren Robbins (Dean) Oglesby of Millen; a son, Monty S. (Tammy) Wiggins of Millen; 3 grandchildren, Chad D. Oglesby, Jason S. (Cara) Oglesby and Abigial Wiggins and 2 great grandchildren, Gauge and Gatlin Oglesby. Active pallbearers will be Robert Oglesby, Wesley Aaron, Dallas Wilson, Ray Roberts, Tommy Taylor, Dale Wiggins, Gene Wiggins, and George Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. at the Crowe-Fields Funeral Home, 364 E.
