Rev. Stanley F. Ackley was the son of Alfred and Margaret (Lacey) Ackley and husband of Ophelia A. (Cogswell) Ackley. They had at least 3 children: Bentley DeForest, G. Kilmer and Alfred Henry Ackley.

Among my treasures is an old hymn book published in 1938 by the Rodeheaver, Hall-Mack Co. which contains several beautiful old hymns written by B.D. Ackley [Bentley DeForest Ackley] and A. H. Ackley [Alfred Henry Ackley]. You may find more information on these two very talented brothers on find-a-grave. Bentley Deforest Ackley is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Warsaw, Kosciusko Co., Indiana, Memorial #84067295. Alfred Henry Ackley is buried in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Los Angeles Co., CA., Memorial #42392319.

Their son, George Kilmer Ackley was also a Clergyman in the Methodist Church in Ramapo, NY and a Pastor of a church in Akron, Ohio.
