It is believed that Henry Sr. died about 1887 and was interred in Holmes County. Some years later his widow Margaret moved to Leflore County, MS.
Note: Margaret married Henry Ward Alexander, Sr, after the death of her first husband, Harmon Chavis, who was the father of her daughter, Theodorene. Henry and Margaret had a son Henry Ward Alexander, Jr.
