"Rhoda Edwards, born May 7, 1776; married Josiah Dwight, of Northampton, March 3, 1798; died November 13, 1864. He died about 1822. They had fifteen children. "Madam Dwight was a wonder and a joy to all who knew her, for intellectual power and brightness, to the end of her very long life, and was held in veneration by the admiring people of Northampton, and by a multitude without that historic town."
