'Nana Dascher' was married to Edmund J.C. Dascher from a family of prominent funeral directors, on Oct. 28, 1914. They had five children: Ethel (Gray), Edmund Jr. (Buddy), Janet (Koehler), Florence (Babe){Giuliano}, and Norman. Loving grandmother of James Gray, Jr, Gail Gray MacIntosh, Mary Catherine Dascher, Joan Gray Polak, Deborah Dascher Knight, Timothy Gray, Patrice Koehler, Rev. Jonathan Gray, Pamela Koehler Palmer, Norman Dascher, Jr, Judith Giuliano and Regina Dascher. Although born in this country to first-generation American parents, her German heritage remained an integral part of her life; often heard to exclaim, "Ach du Liebe!". A devout Lutheran, she read her bible very day. She was also a wonderful cook, with German dishes her specialty. She was the sister of William, Jacob, Frederick, August, Mary (Mamie) and Anna Rohloff Zink. She died at the age of 73 of cancer.
