OAKLAND CITY, Ind., Jan. 25.—
Ada Alice Dougan died at her home west of town Saturday, age 53 years. She was a daughter of John and Eliza Dougan.
Miss Dougan came to this neighborhood with her parents from Princeton. She lived with her aged father until his death, then made her home with her brother, Clifford Dougan. She became a Christian when a girl and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Princeton. She always remained true to her faith.
Surviving are three brothers. Theodore, Ross, and Clifford Dougan, and one sister, Mrs. Henry Meyers.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Forsythe church conducted by the Rev. H. E. Wade of Petersburg. Burial was in the Forsythe cemetery.
