She was born November 13, 1927 in Barren Fork, Kentucky to Sherman Stephens and Hazel (Watson) Stephens. Madeline was a member of the Whitley City Church of God. She enjoyed reading her bible and biblical publications and was very supportive of her husband during his ministry. Madeline also enjoyed caring for her family, traveling, gardening, and shop keeping.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Rev. Harold Wright, and two brothers, Homer and Kenneth Stephens
Survivors include her sons, Kelly Wright of Stearns, Kentucky, and Bruce Wright and wife, Shirley, of Somerset, Kentucky; daughter, Sharon King and husband, Kelly, of Whitley City, Kentucky; grandchildren, Stephen Wright, Malissa Wright, Kristi King and Kelli Chantay (King) Dixon; and great-grandchildren, Majenta, Vanash, Alysha, and Ayslinn.
