Ruth Martin Driskell, age 94, of Stockbridge, GA, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007. She was born in Howard, GA to the late William Homer and Nancy Denise Averett Martin.
Mrs. Driskell was a member of the McDonough Christian Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Murray E. Driskell and son Ferrell B. Driskell.
Mrs. Driskell is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Milton) Edmonson, Stockbridge, GA; daughter-in-law, Betty Driskell, Franklin, NC; four grandchildren, Susan (Mark) Butler, Dennis (Dawn) Edmonson, Wayne Edmonson, Alan Driskell; nine great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, Mar 17, 2007 at McDonough Christian Church with Minister Paul Leslie, officiating. Interment will follow at Howard Cemetery, Howard, GA, at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends Friday, from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
