GLIDDEN - - Ruth Halverson, 86, Glidden, died Friday Oct. 30, 1998, at Flambeau Hospital, Park Falls. She was born Sept. 28, 1912, in Neillsville, the daughter of John and Clara (Dux) Miller.
Her early life and schooling were in Neillsville. She married Fred Klinski in 1936 and moved to Glidden. He preceded her in death and she later married William Halversen, who also preceded her in death. She worked for Zach's IGA in Glidden for over 20 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Agnes Ahrenkiel, Hayward; Frances (Paul) Saenger, Canon City, Colo.; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husband, and three brothers: Harold, John Jr., and Louis Miller.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Trinity Lutheran Church, Glidden. Rev. Michael Paholke will officiate.
Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Glidden.
