Services for Billy "Bill" G. Shelton, 71, of Paducah, formerly of Corbin, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at Roth Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Shelton died at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2004, at his home.
He co-owned Rose Garden Florist in Paducah and was a member of Bacon Creek Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Shelton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Coleman and McKayla Shelton of Calvert City and Wendell and Janie Shelton of Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren; eight nephews, nine nieces; three brothers-in-law; and five sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James E. Shelton and Walter Keegan. His parents were Dewey and Effie Jones Shelton.
