History - Julia was drawn to the beautiful music she heard coming from a place she had never been before. She entered with her friends and discovered it was a meeting. Soon they were listening to the message and became converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Julia left her home of Norway and traveled to the U.S. She would meet her childhood friend, Haakon Aamodt, and married They raised a family 10 surviving children, and 4 dying as babies. She was a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. ~ History by Denise Lanier.
