Funeral services will be held at 10:00j o'clock AM on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas, with Pastor Mickey Matlock officiating. Interment will follow at 12:00 PM, at Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas
Visitation will be held from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
Theresa was born September 4, 1937 in Levelland, Texas to Thomas and Isabelle Thompson. She married Coyle "Dee" Defoor, Jr., on July 12, 1955. She was married to her loving husband Dee for 58 years and the mother of three daughters, Sharon, Robin and Carol. Theresa loved being an Army wife and lived in Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, France and Germany. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4747, of Vernon, Texas. Theresa and Dee owned and operated Defoor's Jewelry & Loan for 39 years. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with everything that she had.
Theresa is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon, a grandson, Jonathan Hanes, her sister, Theda Lokey, her brother, Dalton Thompson, and her and her parents.
She is survived by her "Loving Husband" Coyle "Dee" Defoor, daughter Robin Hanes, and husband Bret of Wichita Falls, Texas, daughter Carol Odom and husband Charlie, of Graham, Texas; 2 Granddaughters and 2 grandsons and a great-grandson and a great-granddaughter.
