Funeral Services for Mrs. Opal Mae Ketner, 89, of Milburn, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at 1:00 p. m. at the First Baptist Church in Milburn with Rev. Richard Corn officiating. Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Ketner passed away on April 9th, 2014 at the Kings Daughters and Sons Nursing Home in Durant, Oklahoma.

Opal was born on September 19th, 1924 in Lindale, Texas to Robert and Lorne (Wheat) Glasscock. She married Sidney Trail on September 19th, 1942 and this union produced two children, Jimmie Travis Trail and Betty Lorraine Simmons. She then married Bill Ketner on May 6th, 1963 in Lancaster, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 20th, 2013. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Tishomingo. She loved the Lord and spent hours reading her bible. She said her main regret after having her first stroke was that she could no longer sing the hymns she loved so much. She and Bill loved to travel and until their health failed, kept a home in Colorado where they spent their summers.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Johnnie, Joseph, Tom & Wayne, four sisters, Martha Lee, Jane, Annie Pearl & Frances; her first husband, Sidney Trail, a son, Jimmie Trail, and a daughter, Shirley Ketner Glass.

Mrs. Ketner is survived by a daughter and a son, seven grandchildren, many great & great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a brother and a sister.
