SEVEN VALLEYS – Leah M. (Gruver) Heindel, 76, of Seven Valleys RD 2, died Thursday, November 17, 1983, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Heindel.
The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion (Shaffer's) Cemetery. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
She was born in York Haven, and was a member of Zion (Shaffer's) Lutheran Church, of Seven Valleys Fire Company and the Tri-Community Ambulance Association.
Mrs. Heindel is survived by a daughter, Anna May Landis, Seven Valleys RD 2; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Brodbeck, York, and Dora Gruver, Pleasant Acres; two half-brothers, Dean Brodbeck, Hanover, and Jay Brodbeck, York, and a half-sister, Romaine Bishop, York.
Officiating will be the Rev. Clarence Moore.
