Arthur Wesley Oge, 78, 2219 S. Central, died Friday, Sept. 12 in Memorial hospital.
The son of Wesley and Dorothea Mumme Oge, he was born on Jan. 7, 1896, in Lowell. He married Ruby A. Ancell on July 2, 1924, in Mt. Pleasant. A World War I veteran, he was a buyer for Swift Co. for 35 years, retiring 1961.
Surviving: Two sons, Paul, Peoria, and Terry at home; one sister, Mrs. Mary Lenz, Kirkwood, Ill.; and one grandson.
Funeral: Giles-Elliott Funeral Home, 3:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. John Vickers; Memorial Park cemetery.
