William Thomas "W. T." Sewell was born on January 22nd, 1922 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Emory Price Sewell and Grace Edna (Hughes) Sewell. He graduated from high school in Mill Creek and later attended Murray State College in Tishomingo, where he studied engineering. Mr. Sewell served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII and was honorably discharged from that service. He did many types of jobs during his lifetime to include, being a Dirt Contractor and operating heavy equipment, being a farmer and rancher, and operating a monument company. He was a member of the Tishomingo Masonic Lodge #91, and was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Mr. Sewell was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harry Sewell and the mother of his children, Billie Sewell on July 11th, 2013.
W. T. is survived by his children, Linda Standefer and husband Wayland, Brenda Rowe and husband Ray, Jr., Stanley Sewell and wife Terri, all of Tishomingo and Loma Lisa Sewell of San Fransisco, California; his sister, Charlene Youngblood of Salado, Texas; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON WEDNESDAY EVENING FROM 6-8 pm AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
