Mrs. Ada M. Pecht died at her home in Dennison, Ohio, Friday afternoon, March 1, 1929, at 12:30 o'clock, after a few weeks illness. She was a daughter of William and Jane (Brenneman) Speck, both deceased. She was born in Penn township, September 21, 1860 and was aged at the time of death 68 years, five months and ten days.
She was united in marriage to Frederick O. Pecht at Mechanisville, Pa., in 1882. Mr. Pecht preceded her to the grave about five years ago.
Mrs. Pecht was a resident of Huntingdon county until thirty-three years ago, when she moved with her family to Dennison, Ohio. Shortly after going to Dennison, she united with the Methodist Church of that place and was a faithful member up until the time of her death.
Mrs. Pecht was a kind and loving mother and will be sadly missed by her family and a large circle of friends.
Mrs. Pecht is survived by four daughters, Donna J.... of Brooklyn, New York; Viginia, wife of Paul C. Wiand, of Dennison, Ohio; Laura, wife of George D. Eckfeld, 526 Penn street and Frances, wife of Clyde W. Eichel, of Brooklyn, New York. She is survived by two grandchildren: Sherlie Eckfeld of Huntingdon and William Eichel of Brooklyn, New York. She is also survived by the following sisters and brothers: Laura B. Speck, of Brooklyn, New York; Anna C. Speck, 915 Washington street; George M. Speck of Finleyville, Pa., and H. J. Speck of Dennison, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held this evening at 7:30 o'clock at her late home in Dennison and the body will be brought to Huntindon early Sunday morning and taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eckfeld, where services will be held at 3:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. A. L. Bixler. Interment in Riverview Cemetery. Brown's funeral services.
