Mrs. Martha Adams, 82, Idaho resident since 1936, died Sunday night at a local hospital following a lingering illness. She was born in Iowa, August 6, 1870, and spent her early life there. She was married to James J. Adams and the couple moved into Oklahoma when the territory was opened. They opened a homestead and spent most of their life there. The family moved to Idaho in 1936 where Mr. Adams was engaged in carpentry. Mr. Adams died in 1939.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Adams, Idaho Falls; Charles D. Adams, Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Codner, Salem, Ore. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Ida Bond, Enid, Oklahoma; Charles Stinson, James Stinson and Mrs. George Moon, all of Fay, Oklahoma.
