Mrs. Sarah Frances Beasley, 87, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at NHC Oakwood.
Mrs. Beasley was a native of Marshall County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ransom and Annie McAteer Powell; first husband, Robert Wheeler; second husband, Anderson "Buddy" Beasley, brother, Nelson Powell; and grandson, Mark Scott.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosalyn Scott of Santa Fe and Jean Leonard of Lewisburg; one son, Wayburn Wheeler, also of Lewisburg; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with her grandson, Charlie Scott, officiating, followed by burial in Beechwood Cemetery, Cornersville.
Pallbearers were Tim Leonard, Chad Leonard, Jon Leonard, Billy Jones, Steven Adams, and Alex Jones.
