Ribeirinha is a civil parish in the municipality of Horta in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. The parish receives its name from the small river and valley that was occupied during the period of settlement. Riberinha, in Portuguese, literally means small "ribeira", or small river-valley owing to its location.

On November 5, 1904 in Truro, MA, Matthew Enos (alias Matthew Ignacio daTerra), 24, a weir fisherman born in the Western Islands to Jose Ignacio & Eria dos Anjos da Terra, married Mary Silver (alias Maria do Ceo), 19, a mill operative born in the Western Islands to Manuel daSilva & Cecilia Conceicao deCosta. This was the first marriage for both.

Less than a month before he died, Matthew Enos filed his WWI draft registration card when he was living at 4 Williams Avenue in East Taunton, and working self employed in the fish business [fish peddler according to city directories]. At that time he was described as having a medium height and build, black eyes and black hair.

On October 5, 1918 in Taunton, MA, Matthew Ignacio Terra, 38, a married fish dealer, born in the Azores to Jose O. & Ieria Anjos, died from Bronchial Pneumonia & Influenza. Buried in St. Joseph Cemetery by J. M. Enos. Mary Enos, informant.
