Early Life: Judie was born June 29, 1964, in American Fork, Utah, to Arlen Ray and Janice Spainhower Adamson.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: On September 24, 1988, Judie married her husband and best friend, Kent John Iverson, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Together, they raised their four children: Bryce, Kaysie, Ryan and Kimberly. Judie has two wonderful grandsons, Jamison and Kamdon Parker; she was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first granddaughter, baby Ila Iverson. Judie attended Dixie College and Utah Valley State College. She later worked for Alpine School District for 14 years. Judie enjoyed family outings, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, reading, writing poems, singing, listening to music and playing the piano. Judie was a bright light and is an inspiration in the lives of many people. She had a quiet and sweet personality, a charming sense of humor and a gentle, loving soul. She was always concerned about others. Even throughout numerous surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and procedures, she kept a smile on her face. Nothing made her happier than being with her family! She will be remembered as a beautiful and loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Judie will always be an inspiration for her bravery and strong will to live. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Judie Lynn Adamson Iverson passed away April 3, 2014, after courageously battling breast cancer for three years. She was 49 years old.
